User Guide

A quick guide to searching, filtering, and exploring Sustainability Demonstrators.

Catalogue Overview

The catalogue shows all available demonstrators as cards. Use the filters on the left and the search bar on top to quickly narrow down what you’re looking for.

Using Filters

  • University, Status, and Main SDG use AND logic — a demonstrator must match all selected values to appear.
  • Secondary SDG uses OR logic — select multiple to see demonstrators that match at least one of them.
  • Year range:
    • From: shows items whose start year is greater than or equal to the value.
    • To: shows items whose end year is less than or equal to the value.
  • Remove an active filter by clearing the field or clicking the small “×” on its badge (when shown).

Pagination

Use the numbered buttons at the bottom to jump directly to a page. You can also use Prev / Next to step through results.

Viewing Details & Gallery

Click a demonstrator card to open its detail page. You’ll see:

  • A description on the right; the Main SDG pill is highlighted in a darker shade.
  • A Gallery of images. Click any image to open it in a large view with its caption.
  • If a link is provided, a Visit Link button appears under SDG Targets.
  • Up to three other demonstrators from the same university.

Statistics

The Statistics page summarizes the catalogue at a glance: total valid demonstrators, breakdowns by university, and counts by main SDG and implementation status.

At the bottom, a matrix shows the number of demonstrators per University × SDG. The cells are clickable — selecting one takes you back to the catalogue with the corresponding filters applied.

Troubleshooting

  • No results? Clear individual filters or click “Reset” if available, then try a broader search.
  • Too many results? Add a Main SDG or a University filter, or refine the year range.
  • Gallery not opening? Make sure pop-up blockers aren’t interfering and try reloading the page.
