Sustainable campus development includes new construction projects such as the BF building on Getreidemarkt, high-quality design of outdoor spaces – for example, as part of the courtyard renovation on Karlsplatz – as well as comprehensive greening measures, unsealing and rainwater retention solutions. Equally important are initiatives to promote carbon-neutral mobility, such as the expansion of bicycle parking spaces and repair stations.
We attach particular importance to the inclusive design of all measures. In addition, densification strategies, energy network solutions and concepts for climate change adaptation are being planned and implemented with a view to the future.
