Green roof and Photovoltaics on the monument bulding of the Faculty of Architecture and Design STUBA

In the course of a needed roof refurbishment the Faculty of Architecture and Design STU is replacing the old roof of the main faculty building which is a national monument with an extensive green roof combined with photovoltaics. The roof will be accessible to students and visitors and besides covering the majority of the electricity consumption, it will support sustainability awareness, decrease overheating, .
